Posts accompanying the clip state that the incident occurred at around 50 km/h, though these details have not been independently verified. The sequence of events leading to the damage remains unclear.The authenticity of the video and the circumstances of the incident have not been confirmed. It is also not known whether external factors, prior damage or road conditions contributed. No official statement has been issued so far. Tata Motors responded to the viral post, stating in the comments that its team has contacted the individual involved and asked them to visit a workshop for inspection and resolution. The company also requested the user to remain in touch with its service team to address the issue.

Recent Tata Sierra accidentRecently, the Sierra was also involved in a road accident in Thane (West), where a woman lost control of the SUV during a test drive near Panchpakhadi, causing it to fall into a construction pit. The vehicle broke through barricades at the site and plunged into the pit from an estimated height of around 20 feet. Three occupants were inside at the time, including the woman driving, a relative and a dealership employee. All three sustained injuries.The SUV’s airbags deployed during the crash, and its body structure appeared to absorb the impact without major structural collapse. In terms of safety, the Tata Sierra gets six airbags, ISOFIX anchors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and all-wheel disc brakes come as standard, along with hill-hold assist. The SUV also offers a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, ABS with EBD and a Level 2+ ADAS suite with 22 features.Talking about the engine options, the new Sierra is offered with three engine options – a 1.5-litre Kryotec turbo diesel with 118 hp of power and 280 nm torque. Another two engines are the newly developed 1.5-litre NA petrol with 106 hp power and 145 nm torque, and a 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine with 160 hp power and 260 nm torque.
