Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased prices of its popular full-size SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, with the latest revision pushing costs up by as much as Rs 87,000 across the range. The hike applies to all variants, covering both petrol and diesel options, as well as 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains.This is the second price revision for the Fortuner in 2026. Earlier in January, the SUV had already seen a hike, taking its starting price to Rs 34.16 lakh, ex-showroom. With the latest increase, the Fortuner’s price range now stands between Rs 34.76 lakh and Rs 48.29 lakh, ex-showroom, for the range-topping trim of the Legender. Breaking down the hike, the 2.7-litre petrol 2WD automatic variant, along with the 2.8-litre diesel 2WD manual, have received a uniform increase of Rs 60,000. The 2.8-litre diesel 2WD automatic variants have become dearer by Rs 65,000.For those considering four-wheel-drive versions, the 2.8-litre diesel 4WD manual now costs Rs 67,000 more. The mild-hybrid diesel variants see a price jump of Rs 75,000, while the range-topping GR-S 4WD automatic variant has been hit with the highest hike of Rs 87,000.
The Fortuner Legender, which sits as a more premium offering, has also become pricier by up to Rs 83,000. The 4×2 diesel automatic variant now costs Rs 42.92 lakh, while the manual version is priced at Rs 45.08 lakh following a Rs 78,000 increase. The 4×4 mild-hybrid diesel variant of the Legender now comes in at Rs 62.86 lakh, ex-showroom, after a Rs 83,000 revision.Under the hood, the Fortuner continues with its existing engine options. The 2.7-litre petrol engine produces around 166 hp and 245 Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox in 2WD form. The more popular 2.8-litre diesel engine delivers up to 204 hp and up to 500 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, along with a mild-hybrid setup in select variants.
