It is for candidates seeking eligibility for Assistant Professor posts, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programmes. Before issuing the admit card, NTA has already released the city intimation slip for registered candidates. The slip informs candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted. The advance information allows students to make travel arrangements and avoid last-minute difficulties. However, candidates should note that the city intimation slip is only for information purposes and cannot be used for entry into the examination hall.The UGC NET admit card will carry important information related to the examination.
