The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) 2026 results were declared on Thursday, bringing relief to thousands of students across the state who had appeared for the exams to improve their scores or clear failed subjects.More than 1.83 lakh students improved their marks through the improvement examinations. Nearly one lakh students who had not cleared the Intermediate examinations earlier were able to pass through the supplementary route, allowing them to continue their studies.In the first-year Intermediate examinations, 2,29,034 students appeared for improvement. Out of them, 1,35,435 students, or 59 per cent, improved their performance. Among students who had appeared to clear failed subjects, 42,379 candidates passed and improved their results out of 1,09,003 candidates, recording a pass percentage of 39 per cent.The second-year results also showed a significant number of students benefiting from the supplementary examinations. Out of 91,303 students who appeared for improvement, 48,149 students, or 53 per cent, improved their performance.Among candidates attempting to clear failed subjects in the second year, 57,327 students passed and improved their results out of 1,02,018 candidates. This translated into a pass percentage of 56 per cent.
