MPESB recruitment 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board has released the schedule for the Skill Test and Document Verification process for recruitment to 500 Subedar and Assistant Sub-Inspector posts. Candidates who qualified in the written examination will appear for the next phase between June 2 and June 4, 2026, in Bhopal.The Board has instructed shortlisted candidates to download the information letter and instructions issued on the official website, esb.mp.gov.in, before appearing for the examination process. Candidates have also been advised to report only on their allotted dates and carry all required original documents along with self-attested photocopies and their Aadhaar Card.Skill Test to include stenography and typing examinationThe recruitment process includes separate skill assessments for different posts. Candidates appearing for the Stenography Test will be required to take shorthand dictation in either Hindi or English, depending on the language selected during application. The dictation will be delivered at a prescribed speed, including 80 or 100 words per minute.After recording the dictation in shorthand script, candidates must transcribe and type the content on a computer within the stipulated time. The examination will assess both shorthand efficiency and computer transcription skills.For Assistant Sub-Inspector posts, candidates will undergo a Computer Typing Test. The examination will evaluate typing speed and accuracy in Hindi and English. Hindi typing may be conducted using Remington Gail or Inscript keyboard layouts. Candidates will be required to type a given passage on a computer within a fixed duration without errors.Two Bhopal centres selected for examination processThe Board has designated two centres in Bhopal for the Skill Test and Document Verification process. These include Madan Maharaj College at Shiv Nagar Colony, Bhanpur, and Vaishnavi Institute of Technology and Science located on Bhojpur Road, Mendua.The MP Employees Selection Board has clarified that no requests for changes in examination dates or allotted centres will be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates have been directed to strictly follow the reporting schedule mentioned in their information letter.Aadhaar verification mandatory during examinationThe Board stated that Aadhaar e-KYC verification will be conducted during the examination and verification process. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar Card and ensure that their Aadhaar number is active and not locked.Along with identity verification, candidates must produce original educational and other required certificates during document verification. Self-attested photocopies of all essential documents must also be submitted at the examination centre.
