Gulmarg is a small hill station, in Baramullah district offers a breathtaking view to summer blooms. It’s all lush green meadows, massive pine forests, wildflowers, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. The town is effortlessly peaceful without trying too hard, and the cool breeze makes even a random afternoon walk feel amazing with a typical daytime temperature ranging between 15–25 °C
You absolutely have to do the Gulmarg Gondola ride. Go high enough, and you’ll still find snow patches even in the middle of summer. You can also go to Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, known for forest trails, birdlife. Otherwise, it’s all about wandering through the meadows, finding epic viewpoints, or just sitting outside and soaking in the endless mountain views.
