Singer Mika Singh has opened up about his massive real estate portfolio of 99 properties, revealing that his primary residence, a stunning Rs 50 crore apartment in Mumbai, was designed by ace interior designer Gauri Khan. The ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ hitmaker recently gave fans a glimpse into his luxurious home, sharing fascinating details about its design, layout and the special connection it has with the Shah Rukh Khan family.

Mika Singh talks about his journey from Rs 75 to Rs 50 crore

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Mika Singh reflected on his humble beginnings before achieving massive success in the music industry. “Touch wood, it is my 99th house,” he said, before recalling his early struggles. “I never dreamed to have 99 properties. But, yes, I dreamed of becoming a singer. My first paycheque was Rs 75, and I never regretted getting paid so little. As a 13-year-old, I was more than happy earning that kind of money. I kept performing at multiple jagrans, then my brother Daler Mehndi helped me a lot. I learnt a lot from him. That’s when I realised skills can get you these things.”

Mika Singh talks about his Rs 50 crore apartment

During the same interaction, Mika Singh revealed that he purchased the property back in 2012 while living in Andheri West. He said, “There is a funny story about this flat. I had taken this in 2012. Before this, I was living in Shastri Nagar (Andheri West). I was happy there. Someone told me there is a very nice building here; you should check it out. And just like that, I ended up buying six flats in the same building. It used to be completely empty. It took six years for completion, and I was finally handed over this in 2018.”

Mika Singh reveals how Gauri Khan came on board

The singer also shared how Shah Rukh Khan helped connect him with Gauri Khan for the interior design project. The ‘Something Something’ singer said, “Then I met Shah Rukh Khan. He is a great friend and like a brother to me. I requested him to ask Gauri Khan to design my house. He said, ‘Bahaut lootegi tumhe (it will cost you a lot).’ I still insisted and finally met Gauri Khan. She had one demand, ‘Never question my choices.’ She took two years to get the house ready.”

Mika Singh gives a tour of his five-bedroom luxury home

Giving a tour of his residence, Mika Singh pointed to a special room reserved for guests. He said, “This is my junior suite, five-star hotel types. I make my special guests stay here. We have a total of five bedrooms. This was an eight-bedroom flat, but Gauri Khan turned it into a five-bedroom flat.” He added, “There are total five bedrooms, a few for guests, some for family and one for me. I can easily host 40 people in this house. Forty people can comfortably sit here and chat.”The home also features a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati. “Every house that I own has an idol of Lord Ganesh,” Mika revealed.Mika Singh talks about his real estate investmentsTalking about his approach to money management, Mika said, “A lot of people waste their money on accessories. What I believe is that if you have received good money, save it and invest it right. People say I have a 100-acre farm, but they don’t see that it is a huge investment and a place that employs at least 150 people.”Content creator Bilal Sayed, who filmed the property tour, added further details about the apartment’s scale. He said, “His house is on the tenth floor. He has taken the entire floor and his studio is on the sixth floor. His house is worth Rs 50 crore. This is not a flat, but an entire floor.”On the work front, Mika Singh is set to feature in Ahmed Khan’s upcoming film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. The multi-starrer is set to hit theatres on June 26, 2026.
