As a result, the stock market remains open on regular weekdays unless a notified exchange holiday falls on that day.The trading day begins with the pre-open session. During this session, order entry and modification open at 9:00 am and close at 9:08 am. The pre-open session has a random closure in the last one minute, and pre-open order matching starts immediately after the close of pre-open order entry.The regular trading session for the normal and limited physical market opens at 9:15 am and continues until 3:30 pm. This is the primary trading window during which most buying and selling activity takes place.Following the regular session, the closing session is held between 3:40 pm and 4:00 pm.
