NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli was named in India’s ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England after missing the Afghanistan series due to injury. The BCCI announced the squad on Sunday. Virat Kohli‘s participation, however, is subject to fitness clearance.The three-match ODI series against England will begin on July 14. Jasprit Bumrah is also back in the ODI setup. The fast bowler was rested for both the one-off Test and the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan as part of the BCCI’s workload management plan. Kohli had suffered a hamstring injury during the IPL 2026 final and was subsequently ruled out of the ODI series against Afghanistan. All-rounder Axar Patel has returned to the ODI squad after missing the Afghanistan series. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mohammed Siraj have not been included in the squad for the England tour.
