NTA told a parliamentary committee on Thursday that it was looking at phasing out reliance on test-delivery agencies by developing in-house capabilities – covering both software and hardware – to tighten the circle with access to the question-setting process, minimising possibility of malpractices. Higher education secretary Vineet Joshi and NTA director general Abhishek Singh briefed the committee headed by Congress MP Digvijaya Singh.
