Maruti Suzuki today posted sales results for April 2026, marking the brand’s best April ever. In the month of April 2026, the carmaker dispatched 2,39,646 units, as total Domestic sales also touched a new peak at 1,91,122 units during the month. This translates into a sharp growth of over 34%, compared to April last year. Besides, the company also supplied 8,470 units to other OEMs, while exports stood at 40,054 units. This strong growth was driven by new launches such as the Victoris along with strong performers such as the Dzire and Baleno.
In addition to overall sales, Maruti Suzuki’s SUV sales also reached an all-time high of around 55,000 units in April ’26. While the newly launched ICOTY (Indian Car Of The Year) winner Victoris brought new customers, models such as the Grand Vitara and Brezza continued putting up a strong show.As for the segments, Maruti Suzuki’s passenger car portfolio saw strong growth in April 2026, with total sales at 96,725 units compared to 68,244 units in April 2025. The Mini segment, including Alto and S-Presso, contributed 16,066 units, up from 6,332 units last year. The Compact and Mid-size segment, with models such as Baleno, Swift and WagonR, recorded 80,659 units against 61,912 units a year ago. Utility Vehicles also posted healthy growth, with 77,892 units sold compared to 59,022 units last year. Meanwhile, the Vans category, comprising the Eeco, stood at 13,087 units, up from 11,438 units in April 2025.
